Mia and Marinn grew up sharing something special that many twins understand—a bond that is difficult to explain but easy to see.

His name was Kuma.

Kuma was an Akita, a beautiful and loyal dog who was much more than a family pet. He was part of the twins' childhood.

Kuma was adventurous, gentle, protective, and incredibly caring toward Mia and Marinn. He had a special way of being near the children—watching over them, joining their adventures, and bringing a sense of comfort and companionship wherever they went.

For the twins, Kuma represented the kind of friendship that children understand naturally.

You don't always need words to know someone cares about you. Sometimes, friendship is simply being there.

Kuma eventually passed away peacefully after growing old. Although he is no longer physically with the family, his spirit lives on through Teacup Adventures.

That is why Kuma isn't simply a dog in the stories.

The idea behind Teacup Adventures also grew from the heart and work of the twins' grandmother—a passionate therapist dedicated to helping children navigate life, emotions, relationships, and their own developing voices.

She understood something incredibly important:
